[Photoshop] Play with Smudge Tool

Intro

Here is my tutorial to play with Smudge to make picture look like Oil painting. This is one of my favorite tool of Photoshop, Ok here we go!!

Original picture

1. Use smudge tool by setting Strengt 50% and Select Sample all Layers. Then create new layer (Layer2)

2. Analyze the trend of structure such example below to drag smudge tool along the way of face.

3. Zoom eye and set Smudge tool smallest and analyze the direction of smudge tool as example below.

4. Use white color add on the nose and lip to make the reflex of light.

Final well done!

Enjoy the simple my tutorial. Next time I will use Smudge tool to combination with other tools which make the picture much more realistic plus painting. See you later!
